Two Agio System Analysts Move the Company forward with McAfee Certification
August 17, 2010
Sudeep Acharya and David Letourneau, System Analysts in Agio's Infrastructure Support group, successfully completed certification enabling Agio to be a partner reseller of Mcafee Saas Email and Web Security services. The benefits for Agio's hedge fund clients are numerous. "We can now offer our clients McAfee's trusted services including Anti-Virus protection, anti-spyware protection, and desktop firewall all at an enterprise level," said Acharya. "Our service will allow Agio clients to create enterprise level rules for website filtering, content filtering, and email protection."
By using Agio's hosted security service the client does not have to hire dedicated staff to maintain enterprise level security. This translates into a cost savings for the client. Simplified and central management of the client's domain environment will give them full control of their network and infrastructure security. "This service is a good addition to our sales readiness project," says Letourneau. "We can quickly deploy these service to our clients, regardless of their location."

IT Leadership – The Dual Role of Today's CIO
April 19, 2010
We feel strongly that CIO/CTOs need to focus on the "I" and not the "T". Focus on what differentiates your firm from others, not the technology that you need to make it so - even if that technology is essential to your business. Experts can help you run the essential technologies, but only your organization can create and manage the information required to differentiate you from the market.
